Baby i was thinking.

about the time when we went to the park and it was late at night. and all the lights were off and we walked around and then found ourselves upon a swingset.

where it happened to be nothing else in the the world

or anyone under the moon had mattered.

I’ve done much wrong and haven’t always been the best at being the best.

but you.

You’ve never done anything differently

then be perfectly you.

There was a time

well there were many.

Many times when God had smiled upon me.

Every day that i woke up and you were there on the left side of the bed was a blessing

and the times you met me at the front door with food and a smile.

and Lime Ginger Ale

And you bought the cigarettes and the beers

See I’ve never had a lot of money. Or popularity. I never had a nice care and I never have had the finer things.

But I had a lot of you. A part of my happiness and soul shall remain forever trapped in that time loop.

And I wish I had never left Georgia.

And I wish I was still in my room with the writing on the wall and no dressers and dirty carpet.

and i wish that when you had come here to see me i wasn’t worried about any and all of the wrong things..

And i Should’ve bought you

With every red cent I earned whether delivering pizza.. or working for apple.. or working with children..

I should’ve bought you a Fucking Ring

I miss you now.
