Every so often there is a story on Medium that speaks to my life and my experiences and just today I found such an article. Dave Tieff wrote an incredible article called “I No Longer Find Beautiful Women Attractive”.
He put feelings that I have been lingering on for the past few years in a well-written article, and I would like to take the time to expound upon what he said and add a few more points from my perspective. The black perspective.
In the article, Dave wrote more specifically about young women getting plastic surgery to look younger and to look more appealing. Just like Dave I too am a musician, and also like dave I was a bit on the chubbier side in my youth (Brothers?), and was very much so invisible to most women or outright abused by them.
Social media has completely and utterly fucked up an entire generation of young women into becoming sort of vain, shallow, and dopamine-addicted monsters, and to touch another point from the other side of the tracks, we’ve created a society that puts entirely too much emphasis on the size of someone's ass.
